ABOUT MED-UCATE

A program funded and organized by Students Promoting Action, Responsibility and Knowledge (SPARK).

The Med-ucate program has been a fully functioning part of Students Promoting Action, Responsibility, and Knowledge (SPARK), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization created and run by high school and undergraduate students. Our goal at SPARK is to bridge the gap of educational inequality in underserved communities by providing individuals with access to free, student-led classes in a variety of subjects. The SPARK movement has grown quickly since its inception, and our volunteers have worked with a myriad of organizations both nationally and internationally. As it relates to the Med-ucate program, our mission is to educate individuals about the importance of self-care and well-being, through an understanding of anatomy and physiology. We value a heavily hands on and interactive teaching style, so that topics truly resonate with students of all learning abilities. We are currently working with special needs organizations, libraries, and after-school programs. To meet our team, or to make a donation, click below
